Co je to Airsoft? Airsoft vznikl v Japonsku, jako odpověď na americký Paintball. Původně Japonci vyráběli makety reálných zbraní v měřítku 1:1, které si každý mohl pověsit na zeď jako dekoraci. Postupem času zbraně zdokonalili a "naučili" střílet kuličky. Nejprve po jedné a později i dávkou. Kvůli zvýšení dostřelu byl vynalezen systém hop-up, bez kterého si již dnes nikdo zbraň nedokáže představit. Airsoftové hry Jak již bylo naznačeno, v Airsoftu jde o zbraně a o boj. Stejně jako v Paintballu, jsou v Airsoftu obvykle dvě družstva, která stojí proti sobě. Většinou je úkolem se navzájem eliminovat. Zde si možná říkáte: "Aha, zelený mozky. Vojna je minula, tak dělaj blbiny!". Omyl! Věřte nebo ne, Airsoft je HRA jako každá jiná. Má pravidla a přesný průběh. Ačkoliv po sobě hráči střílí plastikové projektily o průměru 6 nebo 8 mm, jejichž rychlost se pohybuje okolo 100 m/s, nedochází tu prakticky k žádným zraněním
